This Carlisle Coldmaster cold food pan holder with refrigerant gel insulation and plastic housing is suitable for holding food and helping to keep food cool without requiring an ice bath. The housing on this food pan is made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic for strength and resistance to heat, impact, and abrasions. The non-toxic refrigerant gel is enclosed in a bag between the housing walls for resistance to leaking, and can be frozen for at least eight hours before use to help maintain food temperatures of 40 degrees F for up to eight hours. This cold food pan meets NSF International/American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard 2 for food equipment.
